Riding up is a length-to-movement problem: the fix is fabric grip and fit, not just tugging it down all night.
Check the Stretch Recovery
Fabric that stretches but doesn't bounce back rides up because it loosens as you move. Higher stretch-recovery fabric holds its shape through dancing and sitting.
Silicone Hem Grip
A thin strip of silicone or hem tape along the inner hem keeps it anchored against tights or bare legs without being visible.
Fit Through the Hip
If a dress is snug at the bust but loose through the hip, it will migrate upward as you move. The hip, not the bust, is what should be fitted snugly for a mini to stay put.
